Patsy Thompson will teach us a way to jazz up our quilts. She shows a technique to burn the edges of the applique. Before I saw this video I had tried burning the edges of a small piece. However, my technique was to pass the fabric through the flame of a candle. Very hard to control the edge burning and not myself. I have had much better success using the colored pencils.
