Amongst my other interests is horse racing. Somewhere locked in the back of my brain is a quilt about horse racing. As the triple crown races were televised this year, I sat in front of my television and took pictures with my digital camera. I am trying to unlock those ideas in my head to be able to commit them to paper–or fabric. I know it will happen someday.
In the meantime, I do still enjoy horse racing. I’m not much of big better. The only time I win is when I only verbally say “I like that horse to win.” Here is final 40 seconds of the call of a race at Monmouth Park, New Jersey. It had me in stitches laughing!
